The 2019 CWL Anaheim Open is the final Major LAN event of the Call of Duty:Black Ops IV season before the 2019 Call of Duty World League Championship taking place in August in Florida. The Anaheim Open will take place in Anaheim, California from the 14th to the 16th of June.
The 2019 CWL Anaheim Open is one of the major World League events of the year apart from the Championship itself, and features one of the biggest crowds and many incredible entertainments available for the CWL fans. This years event will be taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center between the 14th and 16th of June and will feature some of the best Call of Duty:Black Ops IV players from around the world.
The CWL has confirmed that this final regular-season event will feature all 16 CWL Pro League teams battling it out for the ‘Anaheim Cup’. There will also be plenty of hopeful amateur teams fighting to build their reputations and carve out their own Call of Duty eSports legacies.
And with nearly 10,000 people alone streaming over 64,000 hours at this year’s CWL Anaheim 2019 Japan National cup qualifiers it seems Call of Duty eSports fans are eagerly anticipating this exciting competition already. We saw Team Rush battling it out with Team Libalent Vertex to be Japan’s no.1 team; Team Rush attracting a lot of fans, seemingly having gained the popular vote, however, Libalent Vertex were certainly Japan’s top performers so far this year.
Will it be Japan’s no.1 team or a team closer to home vying it out for the top prize of $125,000 dollars, Call of Duty eSports fans can only wait and see, and with over $300,000 in prize pool to give away, this years Anaheim Open is shaping up to be one of the top eSports events of the year.
