The DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 is taking place this weekend where 8 pro CS:GO teams will battle it out for their share of the $100,000 USD prize-pool. The competition kicks off with the group stages on Friday the 18th and will finish up with the Grand Final on Sunday 20th at 17:00 CEST. 

The DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 is taking place this weekend. Eight teams have either qualified or been invited for the latest CounterStrike: Global Offensive event. The first stages are the group stages, the eight qualifiers being separated into two groups of four. The group stages will be a double-elimination format, opening and winners’ games being Bo1 and elimination and decider matches Bo3. The top two teams from each group will progress on to the play off stages, kicking off on Sunday morning at 10:00 CEST.

The two groups are as follows:

AVANGAR are probably favourites coming into the CS:GO event, having won the BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019 back in September. forZe will be hoping for a chance for revenge having lost to AVANGAR in the Grand Finale 2 – 1. AVANGAR also performed well at the StarLadder Berlin finishing runners-up to Danish side Astralis in the final game.

Whoever wins the DreamHack Open Rotterdam will take home the top prize of $50,000 USD, runners up getting a respectable runners-up prize of $20,000. To watch all the action this weekend you can stay tuned on the DreamHack Twitch channel which can be found here
