The PUBG World Cup, or PUBG Mobile Star Challenge World Cup 2019, is taking place in Saudi Arabia later this month, so here’s everything you need to know. With $300,000 USD up for grabs, 32 of the world’s best PUBG Mobile teams will try to become World Champions at the 2019 PMSC World Cup.

The PUBG World Cup or PMSC World Cup will be held at the Riyadh Front in Saudi Arabia from December 12th to 14th. The tournament was only confirmed more than a month ago, but details are now starting to arrive.

Of the 32 pro PUBG Mobile teams taking place, 16 will come from the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) region, while the other 16 will be international teams. 14 teams from the MENA region will receive direct invites and the other 2 will have to make their way through the PMSC World Cup qualifiers. All of the 16 international teams will likely receive direct invites also.

The 32 teams will be split into two groups, Group A will exclusively contain MENA teams while Group B will have teams from all around the globe. The group stages will be held between December 12th and 13th, and the top 8 teams from each group will progress to the finals on December 14th.

The finals will have 5 matches to decide the final rankings, this will be the sequence of those matches:

  • Round one: Erangel
  • Round two: Vikendi
  • Round three: Miramar
  • Round four: Sanhok
  • Round five: Erangel

The teams reportedly already having received invites to the PMSC World Cup 2019 are as follows: from the MENA region, Divine Vendetta, The Snipers, ME Assassains and 46 LOOT. The confirmed international teams will include Box Gaming, ElementriX, GoSkilla, Cloud9, EGC KR Black, Entity Gaming, Team Queso, RRQ Athena, ARG Wistaria, EVOS Esports and Victorious In Play.
