The MET Asia Series PUBG Classic event is taking place this weekend in Bangkok where 16 of the eastern region’s finest PUBG teams will battle it out for a piece of the $300,000 prize pool. Millions of PlayerUnknown’s BattleGround fans across the world are going to tune in and cheer on their favourite teams as they fight it out for the MET Asia Series PUBG Classic title.

The MET Asia Series is taking place between the 26th and 28th of July in Bangkok where PUBG fans will see a total of 18 matches between some of Asia’s best PUBG teams. The event will be an all out 32 vs 32 madness catastrophe and will feature fan favourite red zones, forcing players to adapt and prove their class. Whoever finished no.1 will receive a whopping $130,000 grand prize, with a total prize pool of $300,000 being split up amongst the top 8.

Who are the favourites for this eagerly anticipated PUBG Classic event, only time will tell. PUBG fans will see whichever region performs best, receive an additional region slot for the PUBG Global Championship in 2019. Last weekend saw the GLL Grand Slam PUBG Classic take place where FaZe Clan won it all.
