The Pittsburgh Steelers have added a Pittsburgh Knights gaming zone to Heinz Field. A brand new Gaming Zone has been added to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ stadium and will be available to all fans on game day. The Knights recently teamed-up with Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa and have been developing ties with the Pittsburgh Steelers in recent months also.
The Pittsburgh Knights gaming zone will be available to all Steelers fans and game attendees, and feature Xbox One consoles with Madden NFL 20. Back in December 2018 the Pittsburgh Steelers invested in their Esport counterparts the Knights, and have furthered this collaboration by building this gaming zone to Heinz Field.
The interactive service will be named the Pittsburgh Knights Gaming Zone, after the Steelers’ partnered Esports organization. As well as Madden NFL 20 and Xbox One consoles, the zone will feature branded signage for the Esports team. According to a recent press release, the two teams will be “testing out” the activation, and it will be open for fans to check it out during the Steelers’ next home game on September 30th versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
“Fans always come down early to tailgate and enjoy Heinz Field; now they’ll have the opportunity to challenge each other to a friendly videogame competition at the Knights Gaming Zone,” says Pittsburgh Knights President James O’Connor (not to be mistaken for Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner). “This is just another great way for people to have fun before a Steelers game or at halftime.”
As recently as December 2018 the Steelers invested generously in the Pittsburgh Knights who are already sponsored by SmileDirectClub, HyperX, and Sheetz, and are also partnered with Pittsburgh native rapper Wiz Khalifa. The team currently competes in several games, including: Smite, PUBG, and Madden NFL 20.
